Squamous Cell Lung Cancer

This study is for males and females age 18 years or older newly diagnosed with stage IV squamous non small cell lung cancer. Patients who have received prior therapy for an earlier stage lung cancer are eligible if at least 12 months have past from that treatment. Patients with previous radiation therapy are eligible as long as it has been greater than 4 weeks from consent to treatment.
